- Makeup Palette (eyeshadows, highlighters, liners, blush)
- Retractable Kabuki
- Superfine Eyeliner Brush
- Facial Cleanser Brush
So I was going to purchase this palette pictured on the left except it’s seriously sold out everywhere and I didn’t want to wait so I got the 78-piece for now (will get the other one later in the summer); I figured I wouldn’t need 28 more shades of eye shadows since I use my MAC eye shadows most of the time and I was going to buy the 8-piece bright blush palette anyway.
I also got some brushes… and a facial cleanser brush?! Never used one of those before so thought I’d try it.
Total cost? $33.38 before shipping. :cheer:

My god, for only a little more than $30?!? If my mother would let me get make-up, and I was more into it, I’d be drooling!! Well, drooling more, since those colors do amazing things to me!

those are great colors! so pretty

I want!

I actually found a site with cool make up organizers yesterday but I didn’t bookmark it!! I’ll let you know when I find it though.

I HOPE they work as well as MAC, but I doubt it… it will be close but not THAT close but I’ll cross my fingers anyway.

I think it’s an exfoliator-like brush for the face… hopefully it’s not super rough!

oh i love finding cheap buys like these. i love makeup and i buy tons of them, so finding something cheap that’ll work just as well as mac is really a great purchase!

i know! it was a good price for everything =) i am enjoying the palette so far. i am just waiting for the 88 palette to come in next week, along with everything else i ordered online. i need to stop ordering so much from MAC! i think i’m just gonna order from MAC when they have their limited edition colors, cause I think i have all the colors i want from them. lol.

wow, your blog looks so cool. very professional but appealing
gosh, i’ve been trying to look for palettes everywhere. i really want the 88 palette from CS but it’s always sold out. Seriously $33? That’s pretty dang good! Let me know how the facial brush works for you! I’m interested…
September 17, 2007
i like how the palette is already prepared for you… which colors to go with what… would totally help someone clueless like me how do you even use that face cleaner thing? looks like a giant toothbrush to me hehe
September 17, 2007
I is jealous, although what I really need is a good makeup *organizer*. Great haul tho!

Those palettes seem to be really popular. I would buy one, but I don’t wear a lot of colors - I normally stick to golds and browns. You got that from Coastal Scents, right? I hope you do a review on the Facial Cleanser Brush; that looks like something I could use.

Will email you links later.

Thanks!
I hope it won’t be too bad since it was pretty cheap but I needed a retractable brush badly. I have my eye on the Too Faced one on Sephora though if this one sucks.
September 18, 2007
All that for just $33? That is absolutely amazing! O_O I’ve been looking to buy some good makeup brushes myself. Where did you buy all those goodies?
September 18, 2007
No actually none of it is MAC… that’s why everything was so cheap because they were wholesale prices. The eye shadows are really pigmented though although each of the pans are really small (probably the size of a nickel or dime?).
September 18, 2007
I can’t wait for your review on the retractable brush. I wanted to buy that one some time ago, but I decided to hold off. By the way, you are gorgeous!
September 18, 2007
Holy crappers!! Where are you getting this from??? I’m trying to look for a color palette as well but everywhere proves to be so expensive!!
September 18, 2007
So cheap!! IS this all MAC?! I bought one foundation for like $50 D:
And sorry I missed out so many entries BUT:
Chichi Cosmetics - I’ve never really tried anything from it but everything in their range is pricey and looks cheap :S
Eye Majic - never heard of this in my life
AND you work at EA Games?! SO COOL!
